Kumar Neeraj Jha, PhD is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He started his career with Larsen and Toubro Ltd. and was instrumental in the successful completion of a number of construction projects. He has published more than 160 papers in international and national journals and conference proceedings. He has supervised 24 PhD Students and more than 120 MTech students. He was included in the list of the World’s Top two per cent Scientists in 2024, published by Elsevier and Stanford University. His books on ‘Construction Project Management: Theory and Practice’ and ‘Formwork and Scaffold Engineering’ published by Pearson Education and ‘Determinants of Construction Project Success in India’ are widely accepted as textbooks and reference books in different universities. He has also co-authored books on ‘Construction Safety Management’ published by Pearson Education and ‘Construction Company Management’. He teaches courses in construction engineering and management. He has conducted numerous training programs both offl ine and online. His online program on project management has trained more than 2,000 professionals. He has been involved in a number of consultancy and R&D projects. His research interests focus on project and organisation success factors, formwork, project risks, and construction quality and safety.
